“Hello Zippo fans and future Zippo fans. Years ago when I was in the military and I smoked, I bought a Zippo. It was indestructible. I quite smoking eventually and I have no idea where my Zippo went. Should have kept it for camping, candles, whatever. Recently I began smoking a pipe. I tried several different lighters all to no avail. So I decided to buy another Zippo with the pipe insert. (sold separately for the design I wanted) I purchased the Compass Ghost Design. I wasn't sure about if I had completed the credit card info properly prior to clicking purchase. So I attempted to call Zippo to find out if the transaction had been successful, and ended up with a recording. They're busy with other customers press whatever to leave your number and we will return your call. (never happened). So I submitted an email on their site via customer service and waited for a response. Never happened. However, I did follow the shipping the next day and it had been shipped and was in transit, delivery expected for Friday. Everything arrived on Thursday and the lighter is excellent. It appears to have the same quality I remember from so many years ago. People, it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY! It's covered. If the hinge is a little wonky, and there is a little gap, stop whining about such insignificant issues. These cases are formed by dies, as dies wear sometimes it may affect the case just a tiny bit. IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE ONE BIT. If the wheel is just bit wonky and it breaks, send it back for repair. LIFETIME WARRANTY REMEMBER!!!! The lighter is great, you spin the wheel and you get flame, ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU PURCHASED? A LIGHTER WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY, not a precious art piece worth millions. That should have NO issues. ZIPPO, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOU VERY POOR ABILITY TO TALK TO A REAL PERSON AND IF WE ARE TO SEND AN EMAIL OR CALL YOU --- RESPOND!!!!!! The product however, just buy it and own a part of American History! Enjoy”
