This item is solid and well-built and easy to assemble (one person can do it). However, It it listed as solid Walnut and it it not. The top is veneer so the color of the top is slightly different than the legs/base. It looks odd and you can't see it until you have finished assembling it. I expected something different based on the description. I considered returning it but it isn't worth the effort to disassemble and repack/ship and it looks excellent with my custom made sofa.
