I recently purchased a set of Wingbar Evo crossbars for my 2024 Mazda CX-50, along with the necessary hardware to install them (the Evo Flush, Evo Flush Fit kit, and the lock cores). To date, I’ve been thrilled with the entire set. Installation was extremely straightforward — some minor assembly is required, but the only tools you need are a pair of scissors and the included tightening tool. The most challenging part was just lining everything up to ensure that the bars were straight and properly spaced. I’ve also found the noise that the crossbars generate to be minimal. It’s almost unnoticeable until you get into the higher speeds (80 mph +). And, even then, it just a slight whistle. The best part though (to me) is the way the crossbars look. They’ve totally transformed the CX-50 from what was a pretty cool-looking SUV/crossover into something that’s rugged yet refined! I’d recommend the Wingbar Evo to anyone without hesitation.
