The landing pads you recommended for my model vehicle did not fit the Yakima cross bars which I supplied with my order.

The manager”s expertise was on point. His explanation of all their products was excellent. Once he knew what I needed the roof rack for his advice made my decision easy. I definitely recommend this store if you like the outdoors.

Shipping Rate Scam We placed an order totalling $875 on 15th March Selected Standard shipping as it was free. They offer free shipping over $200 and I selected standard free shipping with documented proof of that. They sent a dispatch notification and copy of the invoice when it shipped. I see they have added $124 worth of shipping and charged my card the extra. I reached out and they advised that i selected expedited shipping, so its my fault. I advised that I did not select expedited shipping, luckily i had screenshot each step because I know many people who have had difficulties with this company. So I have proof that this was not true. Unfortunately as of the date of this review, they have refused to refund the shipping cost, despite proof it was not selected. In fact what made the service more abysmal was the $124 shipping charged for expedited shipping still never arrived before the standard shipping, their website stated standard shipping arriving 20th March, as of 22nd March, still no parcel arrived with the expediated shipping they charged. Buy from a reputable company in future, save yourself some money and dont buy from Rack Attack

I am one of those people who does not leave reviews, so this should tell you something unless the service is exceptional or beyond terrible. I order a set of Rhino cross bars for my car a month ago and no one at the Boston store can tell me when they will arrive. Talked to the store few times and all I get every time is they should be here in few days. Few days later I get, in few days or this week. I asked for tracking details and even that can't be provided to me because apparently neither Rack Attack nor the supplier has it. How can that be?! Rack Atack says it's on the supplier. Supplier says it's the shipper. So, the blame just keeps going in circles. No one is taking responsibility and no one knows there my cross bars are. How difficult is it to just overnight another set of bars separate from a communal order to keep the customer happy? I guess i would have to pay for another set of bars to make that happen. Needless to say, because of this experience I will never use Rack Attack, ever again! If anyone in the community or outdoor enthusiasts ask, I will make sure to tell them of my experience. Good job on losing a customer for life.

Sasha went above and beyond to help me prepare for my cross country road trip!! Drop off was super easy and my hitch was installed quickly and expertly. He even took the time to help me attach some roof racks that I had purchased from a different vendor, showing me how the locks and attachments worked as he went. I would highly recommend Rack Attack for your car needs!

Rack attack was very helpful with my recent order. I had ordered from them once in the past, so did not hesitate to use them again for my Roam purchase.

If you enjoy being sold the wrong products then double charged for an online order and being "ghosted" by customer service like a bad Tinder date, Rack Attack Vancouver and Rack Attack Online is the place for you. For everyone else: run. I have been a generationally loyal customer of Rack Attack. My family has used them for years, but that ends today. 1. The Physical Store Failure The level of technical failure at the Vancouver location is almost impressive. An employee walked outside, physically looked at our vehicle, confirmed the make/model/trim, and still entered it into the system incorrectly. But here’s the kicker: even with the wrong car logged, the parts he picked should have fit. He managed to be wrong about the data entry and wrong about his own inventory simultaneously. It’s a double-layered cake of incompetence. 2. The Online Nightmare Thinking the brick-and-mortar store was just a fluke, I made the mistake of using their online shop. It was worse. The Double Charge: They billed me twice for the same order. The Pricing "Error": Not only did they double-charge my credit card for a single order, but they also tacked on a $75 shipping fee. My order total was over $1,000, and their own website clearly states shipping is free for orders over $200. So, for those keeping score: they ignored their own free shipping policy and then—just for fun—charged me that entire incorrect amount twice. 3. The "Cowardly" Customer Service This is where they truly earned this review. When I called to fix the initial in-store errors, I was told I’d be "transferred" to someone who could help. The line went dead. I tried calling back 7 times over 30 minutes, and it rang out to voicemail every single time. Suspecting I was being screened, I called from my partner's phone. Low and behold, they picked up immediately. It was the exact same representative I had spoken to the first time. They weren't "busy"—they were actively dodging my phone number to avoid dealing with the mess they created. 4. The Final Straw: I returned the incorrect items. Even though I have tracking showing the package was delivered and signed for by a specific employee, the store now claims they "can't find" one of the boxes. Final Verdict Rack Attack doesn't just lack technical expertise; they lack basic professional integrity. They sell you the wrong gear, overcharge you for shipping, double-bill your card, hide from your phone calls, and then lose your returns. Do not give this company a single cent. Rack Attack doesn't care about their history with customers or their own professional integrity this is a decades-long relationship ended by pure negligence. Save yourself the inevitable headache and the financial drain: buy your gear literally anywhere else.

We needed a bike rack and hitch installed on our vehicle to take our two ebikes traveling. We contacted Brandon at the Rack Attack in Pineville, NC and explained our needs. He suggested a Yakima rack for two along with the correct hitch for our vehicle make. His prices were right in line with prices we had seen online; we set an appointment for installation a week later. After a prompt installation, he took time to demonstrate and gave us multiple tips. We were very pleased with our experience and found Brandon very personable and helpful.

Awesome job!! Had a roof rack that had a key that broke off inside the lock. Asked if they could get it out and avoid the need for a replacement rack. They were honest about the chance they might not be able to drill it out but I'm very happy to say that they were able to save the rack and had it back to me the next day!! Great to do business with them and will go to them for any of my needs in the future. Thanks!!!
