Bought our product a few months back when there was a sale. The website indicated that it would be on backorder, which we appreciated knowing in advance. Rack Attack was quick to follow up and confirm that this was back ordered, to ensure we were willing to wait. We were, as our expectations had been set. Great start. A few months go by and I decide to reach out to see if there was any update as to when this might be available. Sure enough, since I asked, it was, and they shipped it the following day, or thereabouts. So, that was good, except that I had to reach out to make it happen. So, it's a bit of a mixed review. Appreciated properly setting expectations and good communication initially. Didn't love that we arguably could have had the product considerably earlier if someone on the Rack Attack team had taken the initiative to check on the status without me prompting it. I assumed their system would notify them as soon as it was in stock, and they would let me know, instead I waited patiently for months, perhaps unnecessarily.

I had ordered yakima towers and the round bar adapters but only received the towers. I'm guessing they didn't have the adapters.. The order receipt reflected both but the final invoice and payment only reflected the towers. It was fast delivery but had to get the adapters from another store locally to make the rack usable.

I am unfortunately not starting off with a great review :( I placed an order which gave me a decent ship date, but when I completed my order it said nothing was in stock. Tried to call their customer service number and email their team with no answer and no response...felt a bit mislead.

Got the wrong 2 bike add on rack shipped to me .. I was so confident that RA sent me the proper unit I started installing w/o checking the tire cups til the end … Not good .. Hours of my own time lost other than a lesson well learned 😵‍💫

We ordered from Calgary, we received the product with two dents. We contacted rack attack both calgary and toronto branch at laird, my husband drop off on april 12, to have it replaced. Until April 29 no response. I called the store, and the guy who that my husband is off. So they advised me to call the next day. My question is it’s brand new, we recieved it damaged. So we just want the unit to be replaced. Why we have to deal with the warranty. Called the main line 188 number . Two areas have dents.

Ordering was easy, shipping was confused. The web site said it would be delivered on the 17th, important as I was out of town until then. I received an email with one UPS tracking saying it was going to be delivered on the 14th, nope. I checked the web site and my order showed backordered. I emailed RackAttack, they resoponded quickly saying the order shipped and provided another UPS trackinng number. The item finall showed up on the 18th. Customer service was resposive but not much help.

I have purchased 7 Yakama products from Rack Attack over the last few years. The policy for trading in new locks has been generous. This has changed. The last product I purchased for just south of $750, when I asked if the lock could be changed to match my other 6 products that I own, I was told the policy had changed and that I wanted to do that i would have to pay an additional $50.00. I almost choose not to purchase. Policies change, but I am disappointed with the lack of customer service.

I purchased Thule Crossbars and a Yakima Slim Shady from Rack Attack Atlanta. They installed those items, as well as a Thule Force XT cargo box that I already had. During the initial install they discovered there was no mounting hardware with the Slim Shady, so couldn't install it at that time. They contacted Yakima and rescheduled the install when the parts came in. When the installation was completed the associate suggested I get lock cores for the Slim Shady. I had to point out that those are supposed to come standard, at which point they pulled lock cores from their inventory and installed those before I left. I also had to point out that there were no stakes or guy lines, which are also standard with the Slim Shady. I am still waiting for those. If in fact Yakima actually shipped a Slim Shady with no mounting hardware, lock cores, or guy lines and stakes, then that is on Yakima. However, the fact that I had to make 2 trips, and then point out that components were still missing just added to the frustration. The guys at Rack Attack were very friendly and personable, but they should have been aware of what was missing, especially since all included components are listed on the front cover of the manual. Hopefully I will receive the guy lines and stakes soon.

I never received an email that product had shipped. Somehow product was shipped without a street included so Canada post couldn’t deliver. I eventually got package by going to post office.

The good and the bad. The good is that the Thule roof rack is very good, sturdy, and assembles intuitively. The bad is that the people who fill the orders have probably never installed a roof rack. I ordered the entire kit for my new vehicle. But the mount parts I received did not look like the photos. I contacted rack attack three times, stating that I thought I had the wrong mounts. I was assured that I had the correct parts. But neither person really heard what I said, and just looked at the part number on the order form, which was the correct number, though not what I had received. I finally sent in photographs which confirmed that I had received the wrong parts. Of course they were replaced. If the helpdesk really knew the product, this would’ve been solved the first time I called. (But the roof rack should get five stars.)

Been almost a month and still haven’t gotten my product. Arrival date keeps getting pushed back. They send me this email to rate the product I never got. Horrible Update: I got my product…1 month later. I do have to say, Matt was on it and kept in contact. Refunded my shipping cost. It was nice to have someone that checked on it without me having to. Overall, good company. I wouldn’t buy from them if shipping to Hawaii though. Slowest shipping I ever had

I was looking for a bike rack for my E bike. The bike rack that was sold to me does not work well with my Aventon E bike. I wanted to exchange it for a different rack, but he said the exchange period Had surpassed. The rack will work for one bike, but it does not work for 2E bikes.

While it was convenient to purchase my Thule rack, the foot kit didn't arrive with the rack. Once I received the kit, it was missing the instruction book.

Prompt service. But they sent the wrong bike rack! Even though the sent the correct one, I had to take the very heavy wrong rack in the cumbersome box to a UPS store to return it.

Spoke with Rack Attach Vancouver staff and they're friendly & efficient but the Canada Post free shipping is a joke cause I got the tracking # on 19th Dec, 2022 but till today 29th Dec, 2022 in the Canada Post site it only said item delay stay tuned for update. If I know that's the kind of delivery level I will just go down to Rack Attack Vancouver store to pickup it up myself.

Unfortunately, the Carbo Box was damaged during drop shipment from Thule and so shipment was not accepted. Currently the order is in limbo because the 3rd party shipper Pilot Freight services needs to get a return authorization from another third party instead of being able to get one from the original purchasing party Rack Attack. It would be better for the customer if any damage shipment issues could be resolved by the selling party instead of the shipping services. It would make customers happier if replacements can be sent out before the damaged goods arrive back at the original destination
