“I’m sharing my experience so other customers with rooftop tents know what to check before having an awning installed. I brought my vehicle to Rack Attack Las Vegas to have an awning installed alongside my existing rooftop tent. The staff were friendly, but the awning was positioned so that I could no longer access the area behind it where the rain-flap rod attaches. This was not discussed with me, and I did not discover the problem until I went camping and was unable to properly secure the rain flap. When I returned, I was told nothing could be done because the awning and rooftop tent were made by different manufacturers. Their suggestion was to pull the rain flap back, but that would have blocked one of the tent’s three windows. They knew I was new to camping, which made clear communication even more important. However, being new to camping does not mean I lack understanding or the ability to recognize and help solve a problem. I felt that my concern was dismissed instead of being properly investigated. I later visited another local overlanding company. They turned the brackets upside down and repositioned the tent slightly, completely resolving the problem. I can now access the attachment point and use the rain flap properly. Although the Rack Attack staff were pleasant, I expected better communication, attention to how the installation affected my existing equipment, and a greater effort to find a solution. I hope sharing my experience helps other customers avoid the same problem.”

“I needed some new parts for the Yakima On-Ramp ebike carrier. They aren't normally available on the site and come out of the U.S. The Rack Attack customer service guy got the order sorted and expedited my parts to a rural BC address much faster than expected. Rack Attack has great customer service and will source parts that may not appear on the website.”

“It was easy to do business with Rack Attack. When I was using their site to confirmthat the Yakima Skinny Warrior luggage basket was compatible with my roof rack, it told me to call. I called and was able to get someone on the phone after a short wait and they were very helpful. My order was shipped promptly. I would have given Rack Attack a five star rating, but my order was delivered to the wrong house, a neighbor across the street, but this was UPS' fault.”

“I will not use or recommend rack attack after my first purchase experience. I ordered three of the same items from rack attack. 1 arrived correctly, 1 was the entirety wrong part, and one was packaged (as in no package at all) in such a way that the plastic was broken and a part was missing. Instead of quickly replacing and rectifying the issue the customer service team provided return slips and said I would get a refund and could then re-order….as in pay for shipping a second time. Very disappointing experience.”

“Customer service was the best. They identified part issue on install, clearly communicated issue, ordered replacement part and installed in no time. Nicest folks, install was perfect and most importantly, I know I can trust them as they were honest about part, they will back their work. This is my second rack from them nd so happy they are in Denver metro. This was golden location but my 1st rack was installed in other location leedsdale, same honesty and good work.”
