“I called several store to find the HC steps. Unfortunately they were sold out. The staff was very helpful in helping me. I ended up purchasing the steps through their website and shipped to my house.”

“I'm leaving a three-star review, but I want to make it clear that this is not because of Kevin at the Atlanta location. Kevin was friendly, helpful, and spent quite a bit of time with me. He even brought the display Thule Epos 3-bike rack outside so we could test it in my vehicle's hitch receiver. That was particularly important to me because about a year ago I tried a Yakima EXO system and its shank would not seat properly in my receiver. My three-star rating is about the overall buying experience and store policies. First, I would expect employees at a specialty rack retailer to have more detailed knowledge about the products and available configurations. I actually informed Kevin that the Thule Santu cargo box can be used on the Epos 3 while still accommodating one bike. He wasn't aware of that configuration. Second, when I wanted to verify whether my particular e-bike would work with the Epos 3/Santu combination, I asked whether the store could contact Thule for a definitive technical answer. Kevin told me he didn't have a direct contact or number for Thule. I don't consider that Kevin's fault; I think a specialty retailer should provide its employees with a way to obtain technical answers directly from the manufacturers whose products they sell. I ultimately called Thule myself. Their representative found the specific combined-load information I needed, and that information materially changed whether the configuration would work for me. I'm intentionally not including the technical details here. Rack Attack is a specialty retailer selling these systems, and I believe it should make that information available to its employees and customers rather than leaving the customer to research it independently. Third, and ultimately the reason I did not purchase from Rack Attack, was the return policy as it was explained to me. I was told that once I took the rack out of the box, installed it, and used it to determine whether everything fit properly, it would be final sale. I was not told about a possible 15% restocking option, which I later saw referenced in Rack Attack's published return policy. Either way, I would not be comfortable risking a substantial loss on a four-figure purchase simply because a fit or compatibility problem became apparent only after installation. I could have purchased the Epos 2 with lights from this location and taken it home today. I chose not to because I would rather purchase from a retailer such as REI, or directly from Thule, where I'm more comfortable with the return protection if a product doesn't fit properly and has not been damaged. Kevin, thank you for being friendly, patient, and spending so much time helping me. My decision not to purchase was not because of the way you treated me. It was ultimately because I am not comfortable with Rack Attack's policies and the level of technical support available to its employees.”

“I can't say enough great things about our experience at Rack Attack, and especially about Chris. From the moment we started working with him, Chris was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and accommodating. He took the time to answer our questions, explain our options, and make sure we were getting exactly what worked best for us—not just trying to make a sale. What really stood out was his customer service. Chris genuinely cares that his customers leave happy, and it shows in everything he does. He understands that great customer service isn't about one transaction—it's about building relationships and earning customers who want to come back. That is exactly what he did with us. It's becoming harder to find this level of personal service, and when you do, I believe it deserves to be recognized. Chris is an incredible asset to Rack Attack, and because of the experience he gave us, they have absolutely earned our repeat business. If you're looking for someone who knows his products, listens to what you need, and truly cares about taking care of his customers, ask for Chris.
