One of the best purchases Ive made! I was stung with a few bad second hand buys so decided to go for a spanking new concertina and The Wren 2 plays and sounds great. Transport can be tough on a complicated instrument like this and there was a sticky button and another button that didn't sound. McNeela instruments send you a trouble shoot guide in these cases and I was delighted to be able to resolve the issues myself. I now claim half a percent of the build myself and if anything I enjoy playing it more as a result. The customer care team have been great. Ive only had call to bother them twice. Once about delivery (which was my patience) and the other to get details about the learner lessons with Jack Talty. Both times they've been uber helpful, Im name dropping Conor here. Also! The beginner's lessons with Mr Talty have made starting to play the concertina a breeze. The videos make it very clear and the pdfs really help the learning. I was playing basic tunes very quickly and Im still learning. The experience has been quality from beginning to end and I don't think Im going to be going anywhere else fo my concertina needs. There should be more Anglo Concertina in the world. It's a fantastic instrument, it looks great, sounds great and is easy to play.
