Where has this instrument been all my life?? I saw a stupid movie in which Jeff Bridges is sitting by a river beeing all sad because his colleague was mean to him, playing an instrument unknown to me. I had to have this! So after a little research I got myself a concertina about six weeks ago. Family and friends started wondering where I was, if I had left town or WHAT was going on. Well, McNeela happend, Jack Talty's course happened. For I have never in my life listened to Irish music before, I am most happy about discovering it now! With bass as my main instrument (until now!) I had no idea how to combine it with a jig, so I just improvised a bit and had some fun.
