We just recently received our 60 gal Cooker for cooking large batches of Birria which is "slow braised beef" for festivals. This thing is a Dream.
We got the banjo burners installed for slow braising once you get it to a boil with the 3 jets. No joke took like 10 min to get to a boil with the Jets. Then we turn the banjos on to a low heat with the easy to use valves to set the right flow of heat. We slow braise our meat for 3 hours. Meat comes our beautiful just melts in your hand with this boiler.
Easy to use and Easy to Clean with the drain valve on the bottom. We added a 2" elbow off the drain to drain our Consommé into buckets.
This thing is a must have if cooking large batches. We cook about 200 lbs of beef at a time in the 60 gal cooker. The only bad thing I have to say about this unit is I wish the hose for the jet burners was not a hose. We move this unit alot from festival to festival and worry about it breaking. Wish it was a fixed pipe like the banjo pipe.
We will be making a base for this to sit on so we can raise it for it to fit a 5 gal bucket under the drain valve
