It was a fantastic resource for a check-in emotion system. As a beginning teacher I was trying to find ways for the students to feel comfortable to share how they are feeling in a confidential way. Thanks to this kit it was easy to use and became a routine in my classroom. Every day the kids would grab a token and put in the box and then grab a card. 90% of my kids would follow through with their card. Using the resilience kit helped with a student in my class who was having a couple of home issues and he was able to identify he needed my help and the school supported him. Next step for it ,if we were still in the classroom, was probably thinking of ways of getting new cards for our current walls because if we were using it all year round we would a new variety for the wall.
