A paddle worthy of its name! As the name suggests the sound that comes off this paddle is like nothing else. It has so much power that is easily accessed for any of those back of the court drives but can also offer plush feeling soft game as you make your way to the kitchen line. This isn’t a paddle for a beginner or will make someone an amazing player, this paddle is for an established player due to taking a lot control to use. When receiving drives this is when the pop really affects this paddle and will trip players up unless they have control. This paddle offers brilliant spin using the Selkirk spray on grit. This paddle plays like a high price tag paddle, perfectly balanced and will offer up anything asked of it! I’ve heard a few players who have owned one which have not got along with it but this was due to struggling to be effective with it. If you are picking this up I’d also suggest also adding a case to your basket if you don’t already have a spare one for this to live in as they no longer come with a case. After speaking to Freddie it was explained Selkirk no longer send them out in cases.
