Although im relatively new to this, the entire process from start to finish was enjoyable. I measured twice (or 4 times lol) to be sure to be sure, followed instructions, took my time and can honestly say that the end result was extremely enjoyable. The taste sensations were very similar to other known bourbons. Based on that, I have no hesitation in trying my hand at other essences currently available. It has to be noted that the customer service was second to none and were more than willing to assist this newbie. I look forward to buying additional products in due course
