The pendulum drive is a replacement for a unit that has ceased to function. I fitted the new drive and made a new pendulum. The old pendulum was too heavy to sustain the oscillations of the drive. The drive has now been going non-stop for 5 days. The sight of the clock with a functioning pendulum is aesthetically pleasing, and has been commented on by a number of visitors.
