Initially, my class did not understand why we would be needing to go on a trip to our local beach at Mount Maunganui to pick up rubbish. But, once we had so much more understanding it was such a valuable trip. The children said it was one of their favourite experiences! Thanks so much for the fabulous kit and giving us the eagerness to get out into our local community. The discussions and feedback from parents and children afterwards was hugely positive.
