My first five string banjo although in a previous life I played a shortscale Irish tenor banjo for a while. The Old Tyme Wonder appears to be well made and is pleasing to the eye. The banjo is also reasonably light. The Planetary tuners appear to facilitate accurate tuning and the banjo seems to stay in tune. It will probably be a while before I achieve a good sound but hopefully the banjo will do nicely for accompanying myself when singing as an alternative to the acoustic guitar or ukulele.
