I use the Hunter Node because it's rugged and dependable. I change both 9v batteries once a year and the Node does the rest, even in less-than-ideal conditions. I have a total of nine Node controllers operating in the US and Central America. Full disclosure, they are tricky to set up initially so follow the printed directions to the letter. But once you get it, they just work. Sprinkler Supply has been an efficient and dependable provider for every Node I've purchased.
