I bought two of these to replace two very old incandescent lights that illuminate our front walk steps. Very solid construction with a thick, hard paint coating. So heavy that I had to drive a 5/16 allen wrench down into the knockout I used for wire entry. Lighting is even and a good color (3000 K) and worked just fine with the dimmer switch that already existed for this circuit. Make sure you have AT LEAST the dimensions of the back box. Mine went into old brick and I had to chisel out mortar until they fit in, but once that was done, they both went in fine. The mounting holes behind the box flange that allow screws to hold the fixture in the wall are very close to outside of the back box. I only had enough meat to get one screw in on each light but that was enough to hold it in place. Due to the uneven opening I had to work with I had to fill a gap along the top of one light with some concrete patching material. The other one was a closer fit and I was able to use some clear silicone. Overall, a nice product.
