Akropolis is great. It's a tile laying game with only a few rules, that plays quickly, and gives you enough options on your turn that you feel satisfied with your end result. Factor in some high quality tiles (pre punched!) and a detailed and colorful palate, Akropolis is the real deal. You build your city, using the tiles as your building blocks to put together a multi layer(!) metropolis of the ancient world. 6 different types of 'zoning' give you multiple ways to try and score more points than your opponents and take the prize as the best town on your tabletop. Akropolis also has a super simple solo mode designed by the game creators (found online at BoardGameGeek Website) so even with one player this game is quite simply a top to bottom delight. Highly recommended!
