The Portable Tens machine has a lot of options and is super useful for pain management. It allows for stimulation by tens or EMS and has a massage option. It will take some time to get used to but once you do there is a lot you can do with it to find what works for you. The pads that came with the Tens machine were very low quality. They were barely sticky and kept folding into themselves from day 1. By the end of the second week, they were useless so I had to place an order for some pads from another supplier - fortunately they all have the 2mm pin so they are easy to pull out and into the wires. So I did have to spend additional money (almost as much as the purchase) on replacing the pads, buying gel for the existing pads and purchasing additional wires that had been missing from the box. The staff did send me the missing wire, as well, so now I have 5 wires.
