One little problem screw .... ... It lost this dibber a star. Where the metal pointy "dib" bit joins to the wooden handle shank there is a small screw. See photo. This screw has been tightened, or over tightened, in such a way that the head has been deformed leaving small but sharp and jagged protrusions. These could cause minor dermal contusions to the unwary dib operator. I will file mine smooth or replace the screw but this poor level of product checking falls short of what I expect from a major tool maker like S&J. Apart from this the tool looks strong and easy to use and I can stop using that old broom handle.
