My oldest daughter is 5 and never took to a balance bike. I purchase this bike for my 2 year old but to my surprise, my 5 year old has enjoyed it a lot more! Compared to the previous balance bikes we bought, the Kidvelo is really lightweight and I think is the main reason why she has taken to it so well. My 2 year old is getting to grips with the bike and she has taken to it well after one day one it. I might have to buy another one so they have one each now!
