My 3 year old very specifically said he wanted a 'red bike like Elliott from E.T'
He was previously used to the Strider Sport balance bike which was very light and easy for him to use. He's not quite ready for pedals so the Rookie 14 seemed the perfect in-between bike, so that when he's ready we can add the pedals. It also has brakes so he can get used to using them before the pedals are attached. It's lightweight and very striking to look at. My son was over the moon with it!
