Combined the shocks, with king springs ssl for FG sedan which is 25mm below Xr6 ride height, and Machter strut tops plus Superpro bump stops and Whiteline 6mm shims, and they are great even on very bumpy, potholed roads. Very happy with shocks after reading the data on KYB website attesting they would be fine for 25-30mm below OEM ride height. I set up the struts, king springs, machter parts, bump stops to full units before fitting & estimated the angle of alignment on strut tops to body visually with photos beforehand. Passenger side shims can be done from engine bay without a hoist by loosening enough without full removal, drivers side are easy access.
