Oh it worked! Slathered it on real thick 2 hours before appointment. When the tattooing began, I could literally feel nothing. 30 minutes in I did start to feel the needles a bit, maybe it was wearing off or maybe unevenly applied (difficult to keep it in place on my abdomen as I navigated the world). Regardless this gel did its job. 5 stars.
