We love this vest! It’s perfect for those chilly days when the kids need to stay warm but still look nice. It’s especially great for days when the temperature keeps changing. You can start with the heat on in the morning, and if they warm up later, they can just wear it like a regular vest. In our opinion, the vest style is really the way to go. On cool days, it’s enough on its own, but on those bitter cold days, it can easily be worn under a coat for extra warmth. Our daughter absolutely loves it. The blue color is perfect for her. She is a small, petite 9 year old and we got her a size Medium. It fits perfectly snug on her but it may not be much room for her to grow into. I love the shape of the hood. It has a squared off top which helps it keep its form really well. It works really well on windy days and gives extra coverage. The front of the vest has two pockets, one for the battery and another one that's perfect to put a ski pass inside. The only thing I’d change is the two button pockets on the front. The buttons are a little tight, and opening them seems to put some stress on the material. I’d personally prefer those pockets to have zippers like the side pockets. Overall, though, this is a great vest. It keeps her warm, looks good, and gives us a lot of flexibility depending on the weather. Definitely happy with it.
