For small household cattery and 501(c)3 feline research, product is acceptable overall. Cats really seem to like it and what is most important is that it is safe and attractive for baby cats who are litter box training. Baby cats in training at 3-6 weeks old, will eat the litter and step in their deposits. Safety is paramount at this age of development and we found other products for this age to be unattractive to kitten, to be an allergen, to be too dusty, or a to be a carcinogen. For baby cats this product is excellent! For adult mating cats whose urine has a stronger smell, the box must be changed at least 2x weekly due to urine staying in this non-clumping product, which doesn't make this product ideal or cost effective. Perhaps a clumping version would be more ideal. At the time we set up for autoship that wasn't available. For 1 or 2 household pets, this may be a great product if it wouldn't stick to everything. In a dry climate, too much static, and litter gets more over the floor than other products and leaves a very light coat of (brown) dust. However, in a covered litter box this product stays contained more. Other products reviewed, paper, pee pads, pellets, wood, pine, clay, clumping and non-clumping.
