Very smooth and buttery, but I wouldn't call it a satin shine. It's just this side of matte, but certainly not drying in any way. Very comfortable on the lips and stays put. Dazzle Night is a very deep brownish red.
It does have a very sweet, sickly scent though, so if you're not into sweet smelling things on your lips, you might want to give it a miss. Doesn't taste of anything.
