Our 10 yo German Shepherd, Kona, has had joint issues since we adopted her 7 years ago. She’s had one TPLO surgery, and gets Deramax for arthritis and dysplasia in both elbows. We’ve tried expensive injections for her mineralized tendons. And yes, we’ve tried other CBD oils, to no effect. Over the last year, we had to cut her walks back until she couldn’t even go to the mailbox with me. Recently, her vet added gabapentin for her pain. Unhappy about the side effects, and thinking we might not have more than a year, at best, left with her, we decided to give this CBD oil a try. Here are our results two full weeks in: NO gabapentin after the second day. Her gait has significantly improved! She seemed depressed the last few months, but seems so much more comfortable now, and very relaxed. Her German Shepherd anxiety has decreased! She jumps onto the deck when coming back in instead of using the stairs. We are well aware she is not “fixed,” but she has overall improved so much physically and mentally that we are hopeful we can mange her conditions for longer. So happy!
