I've only had the opportunity to try this lens out in my garden as even the pre-season games which precede the SFA premier league football season haven't started yet. It's obviously a cumbersome piece of kit to carry around, but supported on the obligatory monopod at the side of the pitch I'm sure that it will do the business!
