I have no hesitation in recommending this 12V DC bipolar Stepper Motor to anyone who needs one. I bought it to power a (3D printed) pond fish feeder. It arrived with a circuit diagram showing how the 6 wires should be connected. Red and yellow step it in one direction; grey and green step it in the reverse direction; red (+)and black (-) are for powering the stepper. I also bought an Adafruit 12V DC & Stepper Motor HAT kit which took me about an hour to solder up and fit onto my Raspberry Pi 3B. I will cover that in a separate review. For testing purposes I connected the stepper's four control wires to the HAT, and connected a bench power supply 12V DC output to the HAT's power terminals. I had to refer to the AdAfruit HAT documentation to figure out how to drive the stepper from a Raspberry Pi, but once that was figured out, it was very easy to drive the stepper using Python 3.7. I expect this stepper motor will last me many years, as it only needs to run twice a day for 2 minutes. My pond fish are very happy with it!
