This is the second time I have bought these rechargeable cells and this is because I was very happy with the quality of the products. They came well-packaged in individual plastic tubes for protection (highly important!) and were additionally packed well in the box they were sent in. I have combined the 4 units I bought this time with my previous purchase, to double the battery capacity of my project. About is important to manage the voltages when combining cells like these, I always check the voltage of each battery on arrival, before inserting them into the project. I was very happy to see that they were all at the same initial voltage to within 10mV, which is pretty impressive and very useful when combining them together safely. As I was putting these with other cells that I had previously charged (and so had a different voltage than these did out of the box) I had to charge them to match prior to using them, but this is an expected task with this kind of cell with no protection circuitry etc. It is a bit early to comment on longevity, so I will have to see how they last, but it is extremely reassuring to have what appears to be great quality control with potentially dangerous items and it is clear that the Pi Hut do a good job sourcing these from a reliable source and providing them at a reasonable price, taking the guesswork out of buying these items.
