The canopy served its purpose to prevent rain water from splashing onto the door to cause damage. The climate tends to get very windy when it rains but the canopy provides the protection needed. The wind is not a problem either. I was very pleased with the quality and design. It is very durable. The package came with diagramed installation instructions which are also available online. Installing was an easy task. Great value for the do it yourselfer.
