The Terralisk is not the hardest of bosses but they're also not a push over and if you are doing missions in the Blasted Wastes you should grab one. The thing I like to see in a boss-type enemy is interesting gameplay mechanics and the Terralisk has plenty of that! They can retarget and move just about anywhere along with potentially eating a Hero requiring a saving stat throw. If you fail the save you are taken out of combat until you can pass the combat and escape the monsters mouth. The miniature is of great quality and not hard to assemble. The appendages are on ball sockets so you can move them a bit to get the pose you want. Painting it was not too hard and it comes with a painting guide if you want some ideas on how to paint it. I would recommend grabbing a set of Vallejo's Space Dust paint set if you are painting SoB's minis as the Electric Blue Intense Violet does a really good job of looking like dark stone in my opinion and gives a nice color shift effect to the model in small amounts that don't feel overdone if you apply it to a few rocks on the base.
