My elderly pup LOVES this bed. As others have noted, the inner fuzzy lining does shed, but it’s a nonissue for us and the pup is absolutely so cozy.
The upper fabric has a stiff edge, making it very easy for the pup to nose her way into the cave vs other cave beds where she’d inevitably end up barely covered. She loves it so much we just ordered a second for another room (a cozy, happy senior pupper is seriously the best thing in the world)
