I've booked a "Long Stay" for 12 days. When I arrived and got my ticket, the gate has not been opened, so I pressed a button to get a new one (without my car reg). After that, the gate has been opened.
When I came back to EDI, I tried to use the first ticket, but it hasn't worked. Then I inserted a second one, which told me that I'd overstayed 322 pounds. Thankfully there was an "Assistance" button, which I pressed, explained the situation and told guys my car reg, then got an exit gate opened right away.
It would be great to automatically recognise a car during entering/exiting the parking.
