It's a long line, for me it is a great outdoor training aid for recall and stay but it also allows my puppy to have some retrieve practice and running but I still have control. I would say make sure you are familiar with how long 5metres is,I threw a toy for her then realised the line wasn't long enough amd nearly went flying! Also familiarise yourself with how to use a long line so you don't end up with rope burns. Bear in mind my puppy is pretty lazy and doesn't race around so I don't have the problem of the li e going out really quickly. I do find my dog sometimes trips herself up on it
