Margy Green
I have used DC pumps in a water jug, a Nemo Helix foot pump shower, various pressure washer, & a Geyser System. The Rinse Kit Pro was exactly what I was looking for. Portable battery powered eliminating the cable tying it to the vehicle or separate battery. Compact with storage for the hose & sprayer. I was about to get a battery powered pressure washer before I found that Rinse Kit had a battery. To make things even better, I used 1/4 airline quick connects, line, & adapters, and an hose quick connect to also be able to use Geyser sponges (attached picture). This makes this the ultimate shower & wash system. I did change out the sprayer because I just don't like the style used - just need to be able to adjust from stream to fan by rotating the new sprayer tip as I don't need the other options on the factory sprayer. I bought the kit with the touchless auto nozzle but I have never used it & doubt I will. If I had a do-over I would just get the rinsekit pro and pass on the auto nozzle. it is not something I would use, it is too expensive for what it is, includes other accessories I will also never use, uses much more water than the rinse kit sprayer options. Cons: Cost. Plastic container should be more durable (think thicker plastic like a plastic pressure washer). The handle is sketchy, not sure I would trust it with a box full of water. The hose part that attaches to the box should be a threaded connection versus a crimp connection. Update: Took the Rinsekit Pro (without the auto nozzle) & my Geyser System sponge mods on a 2 week remote wild camping trip to Baja California, Mexico. On a single charge, two people used it almost daily for fresh water showers and a dog was given a bath once & the battery was still charged. So happy we had it for showering the sand & salt water off and for a field bath of a very stinky & dirty dog.
