Great for angled down-lighting! Using this to light an alcove which I use for my 3D printer (it's a recessed vanity/dressing table thing). 30° angle is perfect. Used the King Protea strip for brightness, because it's task lighting. And the BleBox wLightBoxS and proxiSwitch for control. Loving it! My only complaint is that it can be a little tricky to mount if you don't know what you're doing. I was not confident that I would be able to position the clips well enough to clip the channel on, and I wanted to be able to remove it if necessary – in my experience, once it's attached to the T mounting clip, it's almost impossible to get off. My solution was to drill holes through the channel where I would put the clips, big enough to fit the mounting screw through. I cut the LED strip at these locations and joined the pieces with short lengths of wire, so that I could install the strip without blocking the holes. This let me simply screw it in place – attach the mounting clips to the channel, position them at the holes, screw it in place. All that's left after that is clipping in the diffuser. If I was not so set on being able to remove it if necessary without harming the LED strip, I would have not done the whole setup with cutting and joining the LED strip. That was a mission. I would rather mount it and then install the strip, covering the holes. If I were to do it again, I would probably look into magnetic mounting options.
