This mattress is medium tension but on the soft side as it has less springs which is exactly what I needed for me back. I have a bad back, but always have a great nights sleep with no stiffness on my current button and sprung mattress. This bed was my second button and sprung purchase for my guest room. They are honestly the best mattresses. I hate sleeping away from home as I know I will always wake up in pain. I wouldn’t buy a bed from anywhere else.
