I spent MONTHS contemplating ordering this ring. As a huge LOTR fan since my graduation from high school LOTR party, to my wedding ring being a tungsten carbine that was heavy like bilbos when he dropped it, to a “not all those who wander are lost” tattooed on my shoulder - I knew that I needed “the maker” to make me a new wedding ring when mine was squeezing my finger to death. I knew that I couldn’t afford the gold right now, but I wanted a precious metal to replace my tungsten and I couldn’t be more pleased with the craft, the weight, the inscription- it’s perfect. I can’t wait to save up and get a ring for every finger (as I have researched the fingers that other major characters wore their respective rings on) I am that much of a NERD! Truly I feel like I am wearing something precious and I enjoy “polishing” it and showing it off to other people who appreciate it. In retrospect I think I should have only engraved the inside as the tarnish of silver does effect the look of the words but.. in part that’s why I chose for the outside engraving “if more people… valued home above gold… this world would be a merrier place.” Thank you Halfdan and team. I have started following your socials and asking questions. I hope someday to visit your shop and plan to purchase some more precious things as time goes on.
