We were happy with the result. It says indoor use only on the box, but on the website it does say they can be used outdoors too. There was quite a bit of difference in the sizes so it does mean you end up with gaps, you may have to shave a little in places so they are not too big. I used pieces of cardboard to maintain the horizontal as necessary. Some of the tiles fell apart, but these could be used for cuts. Used a cheap tile cutter which did the job.
