I play at a reasonable standard, as I say to my club members "Serious Ametuers", senior county, masters county and local league badminton. I started stringing around 20 years ago and have always used Ashaway strings as my preferred string, Yonex as 2nd choice. The Zymax has been my recommended string for players in my club due to its consistency, tension and durability which have all been excellent. I tend to use the thinner 0.66 gauge in the more high standard players and 0.69 in the lower standard due to their tendency to have more miss hits 🫣.
