Since its release last July, I've been wanting to buy this watch.
Pros:
- It has a GMT complication and can track three time zone with the bi-directional bezel.
- It comes with a Jubilee style bracelet and can be adjusted easily with the right tools.
- It has a two toned bezel and changes color whenever a light source hits it.
- Its the same design as the SKX divers watch from Seiko.
Cons:
- Its not a Travelers GMT
- It uses Hardlex crystal, they could have used a Sapphire crystal instead.
- It has a pressed clasp, they could have used a milled clasp instead.
With its price, i cant complain that much. Its a cheap BRANDED GMT watch, it still serves its purpose. Compared to the homages that cost cheap but uses cheap and unreliable movements, I would choose the Seiko SSK GMT any time of the day.
As a watch enthusiast, this Seiko SSK GMT is a welcome addition to my growing watch collection.
