These buttons are very responsive in a project that I made to control my Yamaha Sampler encoders.
When pressed they always respond and never have to push the button again for it to work like other push buttons I have paid for.

Bright lights on these and use of a resistor of your choice to limit brightness to a confortable level is deffo a thing and applies to all LED lights really.
