A busy 9 days, filled with birds! We stayed at a hotel near the airport with a very nice swimming pool We started in a mountainous area near Panama City where we visited a home surrounded by hummingbirds at feeders. Then we drove to Torti and the Darien lowlands where we stayed for a couple days. The area is quite wild, with thick forest and lots of birds. Accommodations were very basic, but clean. Our last location was at a beautiful resort in Gamboa, with wildlife close by. We did several trips to discover more birds plus monkeys and other animals. Definitely a great trip!
