Straight out of the box these shoes are super comfortable. I can still feel the ground, and as well as a protective sole for rocky and uneven terrain. Took these out for the first time on a 9km hike through the bush. What a dream! I did stub my toes a couple of times, as these shoes have more room at the front for my toes, compared with my old shoe shaped hiking boots - not a complaint just an observation that I will need to adjust to. I love the flexibility and light weight nature of the shoe. I had no blisters, no pain or discomfort in my feet after the hike. Highly recommend!
