Worked with fireman who had this wrap on his Iron Fox axe and looked professionally done. Said he did it himself and recommended the firewrap. Project was straight forward, followed the YouTube video and had it all done a little over an hour. Placing your tool in front of a fan or high airflow really does cut the drying time down between coats. I only used half the bag of grip to get a feel if I wanted more and will probably use the rest of the bag under a new coat of paint. Got the red wrap on my piglet and it looks good but most importantly, functional.
