I have been trying for a few years to keep my koi pond water clear. Tried many tactics but not until I purchased the Malata bio 2 and the Oase bottom pump a month ago that finally I have clear water. I had to clean filters once a week 1st 2 weeks. Thanks to the Chattanooga aquanooga staff.
