I was really interested in trying all of the rootist's products based off of the idea behind all the products and the brand. I was really interested in trying a fermented hair product and I love the sustainability aspect of the brand. I was at first kind of disappointed over how small the biobrew spray was. The packaging is pretty large, so it was a little underwhelming to open it up to a significantly smaller bottle. The packaging is beautiful though and I love the detail of how the box imitates the separation that occurs in the product. I can't say I have noticed a difference after my hair when using this product. I definitely didn't have frizz, but my hair wasn't as soft and silky as usual. Because of the kind of product it is, it kind of has that sour kombucha smell which is a little off putting. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
