The visor is excellent. The visibility is good day and night but there is a key difference between this vidor and the visor that the Exo-1400 ships with: the pinlock cutout tapers away. You will find that there is a guide at the top of teh visor for where the pilock fits but this tapers away as you go down the visor and there is no guide at the bottom. It is not a big issue but more of a difference. The biggest issue is the colour of the visor. The image of the visor is very red on the website, but the actual colour depends on the angle of lighting and it appears more of a gold/yellow with a red tint rather than the strong red depicted in the images on the website. I have been looking at the visor in various lighting conditions and it is only red in very low light coniditons (see photos for difference between light and dark conditions).
